Multiscale Mechanics of Adhesive Emulsions
We invite applications for a postdoctoral position at IRPHE and CPT (Marseille, France) to study the multiscale mechanics of biomimetic adhesive emulsions. The project is primarily theoretical and computational, including vertex-like simulations and mesoscopic modeling of emulsion/tissue dynamics.
The recruited postdoc will join a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, and interact with other theorists and experimentalists working on rheology, microfluidics and data-driven approaches to soft/active matter mechanics.
More details in the attached file.
Spontaneous applications are welcome
My collaborators and I are always looking for motivated master interns, PhD students, and postdocs for different projects. If you are interested in the fluid mechanics of active/living systems, with an expertise in simulations, machine learning or microfluidic experiments, do not hesitate to contact us at simon.gsell[at]univ-amu.fr.
